‘Who Are You? What Is This? What’s Going On?’
First off, calm down, grandma. Everything’s gonna be alright. The story goes a little something like this:
Mike: “Man, no one wants to pay me to write.”
Sev: “I know what you mean. Rolling Stone thinks my still photos of national parks aren’t ‘rock ‘n roll’ enough.”
Mike: “Why’s the Man always trying to keep us down?”
Sev: “That’s a good question, Mike. A very good question.”
Mike: “Yeah. Well, you know what? Screw them, we should just quite.”
Sev: “I think you mean quit.”
Mike: “Right. That’s what I said.”
Sev: “Anyway, I have a better idea.”
Mike: “Oh yeah? What is it?”
Sev: “We should build a website, nay, THE website for irreverent satirical writings, piercingly beautiful photography and a bunch of other great stuff.”
Mike: “What other great stuff?”
Sev: “You know, whatever shit we come up with along the way. We’ll figure it out. What do you think?”
Mike: “It’s a terrible idea and it will never work. Count me in!”
And that’s how we got started.
“Why am I here? Why should I stay? What do I get?”
Good questions. This site is the creative effort of Christopher Severino and Michael Gianakos (aka mike and sev). If you are here, it means you have some extra time on your hands and, fearing the outside world, choose to spend it filling your head with our writings, photos and other fun stuff. You should stay because we are dedicated to producing a multimedia website with high quality content. We promise to update regularly and, honestly, what else is there to do. What you will get is a refreshing dip in the pond of originality (a pond which, judging from the mainstream entertainment world, is terribly difficult to find).
